Best Dressed: Dakota Fanning in Topshop
I try not to post photos of celebs caught “off duty” and unhappy about it -
And Dakota Fanning usually looks beyond annoyed that she’s constantly followed by photographers when all the girl wants to do is go to class.
(By contrast, her sister Elle always looks serenely amused, as if the world is one big practical joke just for her…)
But despite the fact that Ms. Fanning isn’t making eye contact with the camera – and thus appears to be trying hard to avoid the whole “Celebs, They’re Just Like Us” situation – I still love this outfit too much to ignore it.
The 18-year-old wears a Topshop swan-print bralet and skirt – an ensemble that retails for about $110 altogether.
Although you can still find the swan top in some Topshop stores, it’s sold out on Topshop.com – although the dress version is still available in every size.
And thanks to Who What Wear, we also know Dakota’s bag is from Louis Vuitton!

I like the bralette and skirt the outfit looks like a dress. It reminds me of a vintage dress I have that has a cropped top that you tie in the front like this. She could have picked a cuter shoe to go with this look.
