Best Dressed: Alexa Chung in Chanel
We know, we know…
But we’re still not over Alexa and her personal style, a casual-luxe collision of schoolgirl uniforms and designer stilettos.
We’re especially crushing on the Chanel outfit at left, because Alexa’s taken a basic navy blue sweater and thrown it over a black-and-white tweed miniskirt.
Her hair is messy, her quilted Chanel bag is expensive but otherwise pretty standard -
And then just when you think she doesn’t care at all about this outfit…

Insanely kooky fur-and-lace open-toe heels, the kind Carrie Bradshaw would wear to sprint across Fifth Avenue circa 1998.
The cloth camellia – Chanel’s signature blossom – attached to her handbag strap is also a super-cute touch.
If you don’t have a tweed skirt in your fashion arsenal yet, there’s currently a huge range, from Band of Outsider’s $340 version to this aquamarine one from J. Crew for $60.
As for the bag, you know where to get that (when you can)…

I am fucking obsessed with this outift. Not only is it adorable, it looks comfortable. Besides the shoes maybe, which are totally worth the pain. And her hair looks so good, she makes ombre look new again.
