Right now in my home base of NYC, it’s 90 degrees outside (and not in the nice Coachella Valley way).  Instead, it’s hot; it’s humid; and it’s basically hostile territory for anyone with curly hair (me) or anyone without air conditioning (thankfully not me).
So basically, it’s way too hot to start buying sweaters.
The thing is, I think I’m gonna snag this heart-print one from J. Crew, and you might want to get it, too.  Here’s why:
It’s $90 – affordable, but not sweatshop-cheap.  It’s beyond cute.  It reminds me a lot of the Burberry owl sweaters you’ll see celebs tucking into pencil skirts and denim cutoffs this fall.  And – maybe most pressing of all – it’s going to sell out soon.  It’s just too well-priced and well-printed not to fly off shelves immediately.  So as much as I can’t believe I’m slamming my credit card down for something other than a bikini and an ice cold glass of watermelon juice, it’s happening – I’m buying this sweater.  If you want it, too, go to Net-a-Porter by clicking here. –faran.
