Good Idea or Bad Idea: “Skin” Smelling Perfume

nakedThis perfume isn’t just called “nudite” because it wants to be sexy.

The $48 scent is actually based on the smell of naked skin.

The blurb about it on Beauty Habit seems pretty convincing:

“Sheer, clean, rain-soaked undertones with a single fresh flower bud just poking through. Irresistibly clean, barely there, nude skin. To be sensed intensely.”

Of course, even if it smells exactly as its described, that still leaves the question:

Do you want to put perfume on your skin to make yourself smell… more like skin?

Or should a fragrance transform you into something other than the ultimate natural woman?

Very curious to how this might smell! Maybe just a little weird?

I’d rather have perfume that makes you smell like flowers and candy. This is kind of weird.

I think it would probably smell quite nice. I’m all for a natural smell, I’m just curious how strong it would be and whether it would cover the real smell of your own skin. At some point the contrasting smells may cancel each other. Either way the perfume should smell a lot better than some of the pungent smelling perfumes on the market.
