We know National Geographic posts amazing photos of just-discovered creatures, far away tribes, and sharks. (Sharks! Oh, we love sharks!)

But they’ve also done a roundup of the ten best surf schools in the world.

Check them out, but if you can’t make it to Australia or South Africa, head to Faith Surf School in Waikiki, where our friend Kelia Moniz (left) and her whole family – including her mom and dad, a champion surfer who appeared in The Endless Summer – teach surfing year-round.

(If you’d rather do it in Europe, you can also learn surfing in Biarritz!)
