Fact: These spike-covered stilettos from Christian Louboutin are worthy of our ultimate obsession.
Fact: Shoes like this are so coveted, they’ve trickled down to the mass market (check out Jeffery Campbell sandal version on sale for $59.99 here!)
Fact: Shoes like this are also coated in small pieces of sharp metal.
Which means if one of these edges you on a dance floor… it might hurt… a lot.
Do you own a pair of spike-covered heels?
Are they always on their best behavior, or have you had some close cases of stiletto assault?
(We’re asking because we don’t have a pair yet… but we’re so close to clicking “buy” on the website!)

I have these: http://www.freepeople.com/sansom-spiked-loafer/
and I love them BUT everytime I wear them, I nick my ankles. Maybe better for a casual night at the bar then a night out dancing.

I actually saw a girl wearing something like that and she said that she got scratched by it herself from time to time. I think it hurts the wearer more than the rest.
