But then there are times when Lizzy Caplan shows up on Chelsea Lately wearing a Vena Cava fall ’12 outfit styled exactly as it appeared in the bi-coastal brand’s lookbook, and we love it.

Maybe it’s just because we’ve got a major girl crush on Lizzy Caplan. Or because we’re super-excited that Vena Cava is still designing. But either way, well played ladies, well played.

    I really like mixed prints and the floral and polka dots looks great. I like that Lizzy paired her outfit with blue shoes to make it just a little different.

    Man, I am obsessed with her. So great. Let’s get her on a Nylon cover already. As if “Party Down” isn’t the perfect title for her feature…
