First Look: Veda Spring ’13

There is good tie-dye and bad tie-dye.

The prints from Veda’s spring ’13 collection definitely falls in the good tie-dye camp. That’s because the brand, which started in 2008 making amazing leather jackets, worked with expert dyer Courtenay Pollock. (He used to make backdrops and stage  pieces for the Grateful Dead, so he knows his stuff.)

We got a sneak peek of the new collection, and it’s clear that groovy summers past are the source of inspiration. Think Wavy Gravy, hot springs, Dollywood, and “Hells Angels’ old ladies”, all of which are cited by the brand. Keep on truckin’!
