Considering today’s the first day of fashion week, you probably assumed we’d save Best Dressed for some up-and-coming fashionista, dressed in a one of a kind, cutting edge ensemble.

Yeah, that definitely could’ve worked.

But instead we’re giving it to Lana Del Rey… we simply couldn’t resist.

Wearing a creamy Wayne Cooper gown (Haute Hippie makes a really similiar and equally stunning one) to GQ’s Men of the Year Awards last night in London, the singer embodies old Hollywood glam.

Her matching red polish perfectly matches her lipstick (we can’t get enough of this matte shade by NARS), making the look all the more fluid.

And as if we weren’t already sold, Lana tops the whole outfit off with a sparkly clutch in a cool matte silver (we just copied her and bought this clutch by Jimmy Choo).

P.S. We’ll try for a cutting edge It-Girl for tomorrow’s best dressed.
