First Look: Ostwald Helgason Spring ’13

Ostwald Helgason’s spring ’13 collection is inspired by Frances Lasker Brody, who was a philanthropist living in LA in the ’60s. Her wardrobe was pretty major (as you can see from Ostwald’s interpretation) and yesterday designer Ingvar Helgason told me, “She had more Picassos than Picasso himself.”
New goal: Buy more art and see to it that someday an entire collection will be based on my wardrobe.
