If you’ve been reading the blog this week, you have every right to accuse me of sounding like a broken record for saying this: But at Marc by Marc Jacobs today we saw more strong eyebrows! Artistic Director, Dick Page (he seriously knows everything) broke down the makeup look for us.
“It’s how to find the girl inside of a ton of color, which will be about the eyebrow pencil. I’m not even thinking about color. Color is an accessory. It’s just a bit of smudgy eye makeup. It should look easy.”
The work he’s done doesn’t look that easy—we know. But here’s the real easy part: If you rock a strong brow, they’ll frame your face enough so you that you don’t have to worry about putting on much else. Here’s a little trick from Dick: Along with a brow pencil, fill in your eyebrows with Shimmering Cream Eye Shadow to add more weight. I started doing this when I ran I ran out of brow gel and it works even better.—RAY SIEGEL
