“They’re playing Aaliyah,” was how our senior web editor Ray Siegel described Jeremy Scott’s spring ’13 show.

You can tell as much, judging by the first look shots our photographer Zac Sebastian snapped backstage.

There were leopard print bustiers, snakeskin caps, and a sequined burqa-inspired cape.

OK, so maybe not all of it was inspired by the ’90s R&B icon, but it doesn’t really  matter, since it was one of the best Jeremy Scott presentations we’ve seen.
