ANTM AXED: Destiny

On Friday’s episode of America’s Next Top Model: College Edition, we had to say our goodbyes to Destiny. We weren’t totally shocked (considering she’d been on the bottom before), but we thought it was pretty lame she was criticized for looking “dead” in her photo, yet she was instructed to look like a zombie… Strange.
We gave the 18-year-old Ohio girl a call on Friday morning to share our disappointment and see how she’s been doing post-elimination.
What are you up to this morning? “I’m in Chicago, on a friend’s couch.. smoking a cig and drinking a Smirnoff at 11 in the morning (laughs)”
So, did you like your makeover? “Oh my gosh no! So bad! They only gave me the short cut because I listened to punk music! I’ve been trying to fix their mess up.”
Was it strange to be on a reality show? “The cameras kind of make you act like someone your not. It’s hard to stay true to yourself. It’s definitely not what I expected. It’s really really stressful.”
Was Tyra as amazing as you expected her to be? “I didn’t really get a chance to know her at all. Physical-wise she looks like Photoshop in person.”
Who do you think will win Cycle 19? “It’s between Nastasia and Leila for me, because they just look like models. But then again, Kiara is like the person who will do anything to win.”
Did you think Destiny was robbed or were you ready to see her go? Let us know your thoughts! — ALI HOFFMAN

Should’ve been the first one to go. This isn’t “I’m homeless and deserve the money because of it and I should win even though I complain about everything.” Honestly, it seemed to me like she had never watched the show before. She did everything you shouldn’t do. It’s been 18 cycles, if she watched some of those she would have a better chance. Yawn. No point, she wouldn’ve never made it anyway.

She was annoying and I don’t miss her. She didn’t even seem like she wanted to be there.

Destiny is beautiful and I think she will do well post-show. She’s got a great work and just needs more time to learn how to work it.
