Kilo Kish’s video for her song “Navy” (buy the single right here) was just released and let’s just say it was so trippy that we could hardly manage a screen shot for this post. She self-directed it alongside one of our favorite photographers, Ben Rayner. She styled it herself too—you’ll spot Rag & Bone, Topshop, and Salvor Projects gear throughout the vid.
If you don’t know about Kilo yet, she’s the next big female MC (though she didn’t quite set out to be) and she’s got the fashion industry talking because of her great look. We’ll find out more about Kilo tomorrow when we hang out with her in her hood (Fort Greene).
Until then, this video shot in a phone booth (yep, those still exist) should give you a pretty good idea of why we like her so much.—RAY SIEGEL
