ANTM Axed: Leila
Fact: Friday’s episode of America’s Next Top Model: College Edition was a definite game changer.
University of Rhode Island student Leila Goldkuhl–who we saw as a top frontrunner–was eliminated!
And as if that was enough of a stinger, Kelly Cutrone criticized her for looking like she was bitten by a mosquito and Johnny Wujek says her pout looks like duck lips.
We decided to give Leila a call on Friday morning to see if she had recovered from the disappointment of being axed and offer our support.
Who do you think will win and who do you want to win?
“I obviously wanted myself to win! But I think Brittany has the potential to go all the way. She’s a pretty great package.”
What’s next for you?
“I definitely want to continue on being a model. I’ve been going to photo shoots and stuff since being eliminated. It’s definitely something I love doing.”
Are you nervous to watch your final episode tonight?
“I’m very nervous for tonight to air. I have such a huge fan following and I don’t want to disappoint them. I thought I’d make it to the end for sure. I’m going to watch with my boyfriend. He doesn’t know I was eliminated… it’s been really tough (to hide). I think he knows how great I am though. I don’t think this will change his opinion of me at all.”
Looking back, are you happy to have had this experience?
“I think I got a lot out of it. I have a great portfolio to start out now. I’m so comfortable in front of the camera…that comes natural to me and I’m lucky for that.”
