The question isn’t why watch this video from Berkeley’s Why?, but rather, why not?
There are parade floats, oversize balloons, and crazy street-dancing.
Also, there’s the song it’s set to, “Strawberries,” which delivers golden nugget lines like, “Your mom, she sits while her hair is in curlers / Smokes weed and listens to that Garrison Keillor” amidst hand-claps and whistles.
And if you like what you hear? They’ve got a new album out next week, and then they’re touring the US in October. And maybe they’ll bring the parade float with them (just don’t ask why). –REBECCA WILLA DAVIS
