Today’s award for Best Dressed goes to Girls star, Allison Williams.

Spotted yesterday (with on-screen bff-turned-frenemy Lena Dunham), the actress looks very all-American in red, white, and blue–yet somehow, she manages to pull off this patriotic color combo without looking cheesy.

Maybe it’s because of her badass pointy red flats. Or, maybe it’s the almost-too-short quality of the dress.
But either way, we’re itching to copy her.

Here’s how we’re planning on stealing Ms. Williams’ ensemble:
