Jenn Wasner (who is still one half of the indie folk rock duo that is Wye Oak) keeps dropping singles under her new band Flock of Dimes and we really like all of them.
The newest track from Flock of Dimes is called “(This is Why) I Don’t Wear White,” so I may have only pressed play because I’m wearing bright white Acne jeans and was anxious to see why the band has definitively ruled them out, but then I really liked this song.
From the sound of things, it’s not about spilling coffee on your white skinny jeans (which I do every time I wear mine). If you listen to it right here on soundcloud, you’ll see why I can’t seem to stop listening.—RAY SIEGEL
