Two of my favorite things unexpectedly join forces and the result is a cool, new sneaker.
Every season I beg whatever friend is living in Japan that month to bring me anything from White Mountaineering because so few of their awesome pieces turn up in US stores.
The very hard to find Japanese label is a classic case of “Girls Who Like Boys.” Even though it’s technically mens, the styles and fit make it easy for us to pass as being unisex. Their capsule collection with Tretorn may not be, but hopefully them teaming up with a Swedish brand means they’re making their way west.—RAY SIEGEL
