Before your mind start to imagine little cartoon ducks named Huey, Dewey and Louie (woo! ooo!) listen to Ducktails’ new track called “Flower Lane,” which brings on a different sort of nostalgia.

A little background since we haven’t heard from the band in a minute: This is Matt Mondanile from Real Estate’s other band and if the soft guitar and vocals remind you of the ’90s you’re not alone. (For me: memories of listening to Beck, and chilling with my Hebrew school crush, Scott Horowitz, who wore only Beck t-shirts).

The new album is releasing in January and features NYLON favorites like Madeline from Cults, Oneohtrix Point Never and Daniel Ford. Listen and tell us what it reminds you of.—RAY SIEGEL
