Wondering what’s new in at Topshop? This owl hot water bottle, that’s what!
According to the ever-trustworthy Wikipedia (sarcasm, yes), the hot water bottle was invented by Croatian inventor Slavoljub Eduard Penkala, which he initially dubbed the “Termofor.”
According to Topshop, the hot water bottle is a really cute owl who moonlights as a stuffed animal.
Random? Yes. Adorable? We think so.
Will you buy it? –ALI HOFFMAN

I love how now that we’ve mastered practicality and convenience our focus has shifted to making everything that exists cute. So in that respect, it’s a great idea! I just won’t be buying it because I’ve never needed one, especially at $24? I guess I don’t know the average price for a hot water bottle, cute or not, but I’d rather spend my money on something else. And, quite frankly, you could recycle some old fabrics/tees you’ve already got an make a cover for your own!
