Best Dressed: Hailee Steinfeld
We’ve seen our fair share of unfortunate driving ensembles in the past. Remember that early ’00s rush of It girls exiting vehicles in super short, body hugging dresses resulting in, er, infamous paparazzi shots? We’re trying to forget, too. Which is just one more reason to adore this practical, casual but oh-so-stylish look that Hailee Steinfeld wore for a Teen Driver Safety Awareness Week event in Los Angeles.
The 15-year-old may still be taking lessons behind the wheel, but she is totally schooling us on updating the denim-on-denim/mixed prints trends for fall. Hailee balanced out her look perfectly: a larger color block pattern on top and smaller leopard print on bottom. What could have been a disaster in a crazy mix of colors works oh so well with her 50 (ok, five) shades of blue. As always, the Fresh Princess kept the makeup clean — what more does she need than those perfect brows and thick wavy locks? Ah, youth.
