Beauty Queen: Amanda Seyfried

Today’s beauty queen is Amanda Seyfried (who has never in the history of her public appearances not looked like a beauty queen) because we think it’s really awesome that should thought to match her dress to her hair and makeup: Her pale skin, blonde hair, and red lip totally mimic her nude and red Prabal Gurung bustier number.
Even though we don’t have blonde waves and creamy white skin, here’s how we plan to copy her look. It might be perfect for the Versace store opening tonight…?
CURL IT: Sultra 1 Inch Curling Iron, $130
Section off your hair and create about eight separate curls depending on how much hair you have! When you’re all curled up, set with with a finishing hairspray and let it sit for about ten minutes. Before you head out for the night, flip your hair and use your fingers to loosen up the curls. The result will be a relaxed wave that will last all night.
GLOWIFY IT: Estee Lauder Daywear BB Cream, $38
Instead of a heavy foundation, BB Cream provides light but solid coverage that adjusts to your skintone. If you do feel like you need a little bit of color, go for a super light blush that’s close to your natural cheek color.
MATTIFY IT: Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Dragon Girl, $24
The key to Seyfried’s lips is the right semi-matte red lipstick. It looks clean and severe, but not too dry and most importantly: the brightest possible red.—RAY SIEGEL
