At this point, we’re all well aware Taylor Swift knows how to rock a super feminine, ’50s-inspired ensemble.

Don’t get us wrong–we have nothing against the retro pinup-meets-housewife look. But like everyone else, we love a bit variety and surprise.

Check out the singer above, in a bright red sweater, a plaid midi skirt, and funky little black heels. Though very on point with current trends (remember the plaid skirts and trousers at Alexandre Herchcovitch and 3.1 Phillip Lim’s SS ’13 collections?), we love how the singer-songwriter stays to true to her sweet, southern girl style.

And while she might be going a little nuts with the promotional dressing, bright red does suit her quite well.   — ALI HOFFMAN
