When I first saw this trailer I was like, Oh cool, MIA has a new project.

And then I was like, Oh wait, this is all her old music.

And then I was like, Oh weird, this is a trailer for her upcoming Rizzoli book.

Apparently, book trailers are now a thing. And if anyone is going to be ahead of the curve, it would be the rapper (and NYLON cover girl). Of course, a movie trailer gives you some inkling of what to expect if you were to see it in the movie theater, whereas I’m still not sure what we’ll find in MIA: The Book, besides pages and pages of trippy prints and bright lipstick.
