We’re used to hearing Clams Casino’s trademark hip hop beats as the backdrop for A$ap Rocky and Lil B until Mikky Ekko from Nashville entered the ring.
The two (that’s a shot of them in the studio) co-produced a new track “Pull Me Down” that is more likely to be the theme song in in the next major love movie than the next club hit. We’re picturing this song playing while Rachel McAdams finally realizes that maybe she does miss that guy and over on the next screen he is looking at a picture of the two of them together remembering all of the good times they had.
Either way we think Clams Casino should keep hooking up with a wider range of artists and keep making really good love songs like this one. And if someone scores the next Rachel McAdams movie with this track, I’ll expect to be fairly compensated.—RAY SIEGEL
