School of Seven Bells released a new single called “Secret Days” on Soundcloud today, so I had to take a trip down memory lane and listen to their old 2007 hits before getting to this one. Remember “Half Alseep?” Remember when almost all pop songs sounded like “Half Asleep?” The dream pop duo’s new track will bring you back to present time though—they’ve come along way and that’s made clear not only in the sound but quite plainly in the lyrics too.

While I’m still stuck in 2007, I might as well listen to some Snow Patrol.—RAY SIEGEL
