ANTM AXED: VICTORIA

Last week on America’s Next Top Model – Cycle 19 College Edition, the one-and-only Victoria Henley was sadly asked to pack her bags. Having been the focus for a lot of drama, concern, and general bewilderment this season, her presence will definitely missed by many (us included…duh).
But thankfully, we got a chance to talk with Victoria yesterday and find out how she’s doing and what she thinks about the show, having had some time to reflect.
Because of all the drama and stress, was there any part of you that was relieved to be eliminated?
“Of course my main objective was to be numero uno and take home the crown, so to speak. So to be booted out as early as I was and not be in the prestigious ‘Top 5′ was really frustrating. But thankfully I do posses the gift of self-promotion. And I don’t think some girls that made it further than me have the desire or ability to self-promote. I’m really thankful for all the exposure I’ve gained from the show. I’ve had a lot of fan pages created for me.”
Which of the other girls on the show would you like to stay in touch with?
“I really didn’t make a lot of friends on the show. A lot of the girls zoned in and attacked me from the start. Some girls were definitely nicer, but they got eliminated earlier. With Laura- she was a hypocritical person, and I didn’t have any desire to relate to her. And same goes with Kristin.”
Looking back, do you think there was any legitimacy to the other girls’ concerns for your health?
“I wasn’t really given any reason to think that their care and concern was legitimate. It was done in such a terrible and accusatory way. I feel like a lot of the girls would have slitted my throat if it would have benefited them. From the beginning, I knew I was one of the thinnest girls on the show and that they were going to exploit and attack me for it. The truth is, I’ve got a high metabolism and I eat a lot of fruits and vegetables. But I’m also human, and I was under a ton of stress, and it was very hard to find all the foods I’m used to eating.”
Who have you been watching the episodes with?
“My mom and I have watched together in a lot of different locations. (We’ve) watched in our veterinary clinic on the computer. We’ve watched in an exercise room at a hotel while jumping around. I think our relationship was definitely dramatized on the show. But part of it is true… Shes my rock, she’s my best friend, and she’s my support system.” — ALI HOFFMAN

I absolutely love Victoria and have so much admiration for her. Her faith is unshakeable and God will use her for His kingdom. She is a woman after His own heart and is one of very few to fit her plan into His ultimate one! I love her for that.
