Wild Belle Make Touring Look Easy

You hear all sorts of horror stories about touring: Weeks and weeks of eating fast food, sleeping in vans, fighting with bandmates, and never, ever having time to shower.

But watching this video diary Wild Belle filmed during their very first North American tour makes us think that it can also be really, really fun. Because who doesn’t want to go thrifting, dance down dusty country roads, and have photoshoots on building rooftops? Not us–especially if it’s all done on hazy Super 8 film.

And while we can’t all be in globe-trotting bands, we can take a page from the Afro-soul group (who put together our Chicago city guide!) and start hanging a dream catcher in our car. –REBECCA WILLA DAVIS

    Was lucky enough to see them open up for Passion Pit a few weeks ago and was blown away by their performance!! I’m loving the video they have for “Keep You” too :) http://smarturl.it/keepyouvideo
