We went backstage yesterday at the Victoria Secret Fashion Show  to watch makeup artist Tom Pecheux give his girls the “Pink” touch.

Here are Pecheaux’s exact steps and supermodel makeup tips:

COVER IT: VS Pro Airbrush FX, $18

“First of all there needs to be impeccable skin. We need foundation for the HD camera. It doesn’t mean you needs tons of it though.”

PENCIL IT: VS Precision Line Eye Pencil, $9

“We’re framing the top of the eyes with a bit of black pencil and brown pencil. We are coloring the entire thing in to make it stable—and then we blend it a little bit. We put some on the corners of the eye to give it a cateye effect and then I put a softer brown color all over the eyelid.”

LASH IT: VS Volume Lift Mascara, $15

“The lashes get a lot of black mascara on top and  a layer of  brown mascara on the bottom, which makes a huge difference. I think the brown really lifts it. The black can drag down your eye.”

And then of course, the lips and cheeks are pink. If you’re looking for a pair of wings, you’re on your own with that one.—RAY SIEGEL
