White tees in the wintertime? Yeah, what else am I supposed to wear underneath my warmest thermal, a quilted down shirt, an insulated Patagonia vest, a buffalo checked shirt jacket, and two wool coats?
Yes, I actually do wear all of that (plus a ridiculous tall fur hat) and yes it’s that cold in New York right now. Now that we’re post Sandy and Con Edison has finally turned the city’s heat and lights back on, spending time indoors gets a little steamy. Which means a light tee is an equally important layer. Even though it takes 20 minutes to strip down to it, underneath it all, I wear the softest, best fitting white tee in the whole world.
