Fashion dinners tend to be super-serious, super-chic affairs.

But it’s impossible to not have fun if you’re surrounded by gnomes. Which was the case last night at Mulberry‘s LA party celebrating their spring ’13 collection.

You may remember the bright hued shorties from the brand’s London Fashion Week show, but what they didn’t have then that they have now is Elisabeth Moss posing among them. Because really, how can you have a conversation about, say, the crisis in the Middle East when you’re hugging a pink gnome? Exactly. Most impressive is that even when she’s surrounded by attention-grabbers, the actress still looks totally cool. (Wearing a Mulberry jacket not-yet-in-stores will do that to a person–you can always shop their fall collection though.) –REBECCA WILLA DAVIS
