When it comes to high fashion, the question isn’t just which celebs will be sitting front row–but also, who will be the first to get their hands on the next season’s collection.

Because while we can all ooh and ahh over, say, the Alexander Wang spring ’13 show, we can’t all wear the collection’s pieces months before it hits shelves–which is exactly what Rihanna did this week.

So consider this latest launch by Proenza Schouler a bit of evening out the playing field. The New York design duo is releasing the scarves spotted on their spring ’13 runway now, well ahead of when the rest of the collection launches. The printed cashmere and silk accessories come in two different prints–and because this is Proenza, the prints are pretty dope–and these early birds come in special limited edition holiday packaging.

You can only nab them at Proenza Schouler’s store in New York City or through their website–and they’ll also cost you $695 each–but then, for a taste of spring in early winter it just might be worth it. –REBECCA WILLA DAVIS
