Azealia Banks vs. Angel Haze

Sometimes all it takes to find a great new song is a quick glance at your Twitter timeline. That happened today when I noticed Azealia Banks had dropped what was unmistakably a retaliation track against Angel Haze (listen to her dis track here), whose she’s been beefing with for the past two days. We admit that we’ve sort of been following the artists’ angry tweets at one another (mostly because it’s funny), but while the back and forth isn’t worth getting into, the music is. We love Banks’ new song, “No Problems” because whether or not it’s a dis, it’s definitely ode to being from the city we love, “money makin’ Manhattan.” And as Banks so poignantly points out, Angel Haze isn’t.

Even Banks admitted that her distaste for Angel Haze worked out in everyone’s favor. She tweeted, “Lol I def used that energy to write a fly new jam tho.” Take sides if you wish, but only if you’ve listened to both songs.—RAY SIEGEL

“…but while the back and forth isn’t worth getting into, the music is” and yet only one of the two gets their music mentioned (and Angel Haze wrote two, so hey, you’re spoiled for choice, buddy). “Take sides if you wish, but only if you’ve listened to both songs.” Keep pedaling your crap, Ray Siegel.
