Is Emilia Clarke The Next Audrey?

There are, like, a million things to like about Breakfast at Tiffany’s–from the no-name cat to “Moon River” to those amazing eye masks.
But it’s hard to think about the Truman Capote classic and not think Audrey Hepburn. So consider Emilia Clarke’s undertaking and pretty massive one. The Game of Thrones actress is taking on the lead role in the upcoming take on Breakfast at Tiffany’s, which premieres this March on Broadway. She’s gone from white-blonde to brunette, fantasy to fiction, with the help of the show’s beauty partners Sonia Kashuk and Umberto.
What’s still there? The little black dress, the gloves, and the brows. But can Clarke out-gamine the original gamine? Sound off in the comments!

Absolutely not. Sorry to say that, but just think about how much better Anne Hathaway (not even a fan) or even Emma Stone would be. The thing I find most wonderful about Audrey Hepburn, in any movie, is her spechial voice and accent. Emilia Clarke doesn’t have that, neither does she look as gentle and as feminine as Holly Golightly. She’s really cool, honestly, but it just wouldn’t work for me.

The name of the cat in Breakfast at Tiffany’s was Cat, he was not nameless. Do your homework, Nylon…

NO WAY!!!!!!!!!!
I am a huge Audrey Hepburn fan she is my idol. I think that legends are legends for a reason they are one of a kind (did Lindsay Lohan’s portrayal of Elizabeth Taylor not prove that fact) and if they are to be a biopic play or what have you it needs to be done by some one capable, some one with gravitas to do it justice and this girl does not have it, this is just like when Jennifer love Hewitt played audrey in that TV special, oh sure she looked pretty in the costumes but the thing was a train wreck, hollywood( and broadway apparently , but then again most broadway producers will cast some one from hollywood over some one from new york so they get name recognition and people buy tickets)needs to stop thinking that pretty=capable
