John Mayer once told women, “Your Body is a Wonderland” and now he’s saying, “buy my $190 wallets!” We think we’d rather buy a Comme Des Garcons one at that price, but in his defense the wallets are made of fabric from the late 1800s (talk about vintage) and that button that’s protecting all of your hard earned cash is not just any button —it’s a Civil War-era button. It may have fallen off of the coat of Ulysses S. Grant. We’re not sure who told Mayer to become a designer, but we have a hunch it’s his new girlfriend Katy Perry who has her own perfume and is the face of the delightfully airy snack, Pop Chips.—RAY SIEGEL
