Be still our electro-emo hearts: In honor of the 10 year anniversary (and deluxe edition release–even the most indie of bands isn’t immune to the lure of cold hard cash), The Postal Service are reuniting.

The long distance duo comprised of Ben Gibbard (aka Mr. Ex-Deschanel) and Jimmy Tamborello celebrate “Such Great Heights,” the Garden State adoration, and more with both a string of live dates–not yet announced, but keep checking back here for details–as well as the reissue, which includes the original 10-track album as well as 15 bonus tracks.

It doesn’t come out until April 9, so until then we’ll leave you with this music video. Because are there any other song that better captures the aughts for us? Oh yeah, anything by The Strokes. But that’s cool, we’ll talk two 2000s reunions over none. –REBECCA WILLA DAVIS
