H&M is jumping on the sustainable fashion bandwagon with a new line called ‘Conscious,’ with actress/singer Vanessa Paradis as the face. Above is a behind-the-scenes shot of her modeling a dress a shoes from the eco-friendly line.
The entire collection (even the shoes) is made from organic cotton, recycled polyester, and Tencel and will hit H&M stores this March. H&M is also launching a garment collecting initiative at their retail stores. Customers can bring any unwanted garments—they don’t even have to be H&M—in exchange for a store voucher. It’s good news for us, since this means no more long lines at our local consignment shop.—RAY SIEGEL
