You know the deal: Cool British musician gets big the UK, with lots of BBC Radio 1 airplay, not to mention stints working with Florence + The Machine’s and Arctic Monkeys’ producers–and all the while, we Americans are totally clueless and, like, a year behind.

So let’s cut out that lag time and introduce you right now to Lewis Watson. The London-based crooner first made a name for himself with heartfelt covers posted on YouTube, but before too long his EPs–the most recent being Another Four Sad Songs–garnered attention well beyond the virtual world.

The 20-year-old is finally landing stateside next month, with a slew of dates in New York City and Los Angeles. You can get all the details here, but in case you’re not convinced just yet that this is someone you want to know before all your friends get on the Lewis Watson train six months from now, we’ve got some visual proof for you.
