Best Dressed: Yelle

The overlap between onstage outfits we love and onstage outfits we can wear is usually pretty slim–tune in to the Super Bowl this weekend to see what Beyonce dons onstage if you don’t believe us.
But this ensemble by French electro-pop musician Yelle is basically what we wish we wore every single day in winter. At the party launching VERA and the Save. Love. Give campaign, she totally nailed the cold-weather look. For one thing, there’s her graphic, oversize sweater, which we would probably live in if it weren’t for the fact that we have to go into an office every day. Then there are her shoes: Think hiking boots, only a little cooler.
We’d wear it onstage, offstage, out to parties and in to hour-long Homeland viewing sessions. Here’s how we’d pull it off:
