Wavves’ fourth album is called Afraid of Heights, but I have it on good authority that the SoCal rocker Nathan Williams doesn’t actually have acrophobia (and by good authority, I mean I was with the NYLON crew when he rode a rollercoaster in Coney Island a few years ago).

So maybe he doesn’t have demons to lean on, either–despite what the title of his new single, “Demon To Lean On” may suggest. But it doesn’t really matter because it’s a good way to indulge your inner ’90s sneer-punk while we wait for his new album to come out on March 26.

The band is also touring with FIDLAR and Cheetahs throughout March and April (with a stop at SXSW, of course), so get your complete fill of Wavves news here. But not before you give the new single a listen! –REBECCA WILLA DAVIS
