Best Dressed: Michelle Dockery
Though she may not be our favorite Crawley sister (Sybil, always and forever), Mary wins the most points for style off-set. Actress Michelle Dockery, who plays the eldest sister on Downton Abbey, has been upstaging big names like Amanda Seyfried and Marion Cotillard throughout awards show season, and we totally did not see it coming. What gives?
Well, we’re beginning to think she’s just got a really great eye. Case in point: Her ensemble at the Burberry Prorsum show during London Fashion Week. The Brit found a way to look both classy for the runway show, and cool for the late-night festivities that came after (she reportedly stayed out partying until nearly 3 a.m.). What keeps it all together is finding a centerpiece to anchor the whole look–in this case, a never-goes-out-of-style wool coat–and then pairing it with an accessory that pops, such as a graphic bag or a pair of wedge Mary-Janes.
