My go-to beauty routine has consisted of black liquid liner, loads of mascara, and a swipe of blush for far too  long. You could say I’m in the midst of a beauty rut.

So when I saw the makeup look at Topshop Unique’s fall ’13 show, I decided that this would be my goal for Saturday night. Here are the steps I’m going to follow–and, if you’re ready to break out of your usual routine and go for this ’90s Brit Pop-inspired beauty vibe.

1. Use the Pale Gold shade in Topshop’s Face Sculpting Palette in Kick Start to highlight your cheekbones and bridge of your nose.

2. Apply Topshop’s Eye Quad in Game On–specifically the Metallic Blue shade–as a base on the lids. Follow with a deeper blue in an almond shape around the eye; for the show they used the Eyeshadow Duo in Solstice, which isn’t available until May 2013, but this one from Maybelline would work too.

3. To finish off the look, dab on a bit of lip balm and you’re ready to go. –REBECCA WILLA DAVIS
