The Oscars are great for gown watching, but for more real world inspiration we always check out what celebs wear in the parties leading up to the Academy Awards.

Take Bella Heathcote’s baby-doll dress: The actress donned spring ’13 Chanel to the French brand’s Pre-Oscar dinner on Saturday night, and you don’t have to be in 70 degree weather to rock the look right now. Pair a quilted top with a swing-y floral skirt, a pair of black boots (as much as we love her satin heels), and a very mod nude lipstick and you can head just about anywhere but a major awards show.
