We noticed earlier this year a profusion of all-white outfits.

First came Rooney Mara in a dream of an Alexander McQueen dress. Soon after we spotted Rita Ora in a baggy jumpsuit.

But if that was a little too vague for you, how about this: all-white suits. Yes, your dad’s ’70s staple is now being re-appropriated into red carpet wear. First we saw Sophia Bush at Global Green USA’s annual pre-Oscar party wearing a two-piece from the H&M Conscious collection (it’s made of organic cotton and hits stores this spring). Then, the next day, we spied Dree Hemingway in a silk suit from the spring ’13 Calvin Klein Collection.

The actress kept things a little more buttoned-up, while the model turned the office staple into an after-hours affair. One went with nude accessories, the other black. Totally different…but we have a feeling that this is only just the beginning of the white-on-white look. Who rocks it harder? Let us know in the comments section below. –REBECCA WILLA DAVIS
