Best Dressed: Kirsten Dunst

There are three ways to dress for a flight. There’s the who-cares-what-I-look-like, I-just-want-to-be-comfy look (that would be us). There’s the I-never-take-off-my-six-inch-heels-so-why-would-I-do-that-now? look (that would the middle-aged woman we always spy in first class). And then there’s the in-between zone, the sweet spot of airport dressing if you will. Flats that aren’t too worn in, pants that aren’t too stretchy looking, and a jacket that could double as a blanket in emergencies, but certainly doesn’t look like one.
We’d put Kirsten Dunst in the latter category. The actress, who flew from LA to Paris (side note: this may mean we’ll see Kiki front row during Fashion Week), paired her signature Ray-Bans with a pair of Charlotte Olympia flats and a belted navy coat. We’d never suggest that she kept it on the whole flight, but if it got cold enough on the airplane we wouldn’t blame her for grabbing it from the overhead bin.
Even if you’re not heading out of town, here’s how we’d do Dunst’s look:
MUST: Merona Wool Coat – $41.98
TRUST: Ray-Ban Wayfarer – $150
