Good Idea or Bad Idea: Fast (Food) Fashion

We thought it was awesome when Cara Delevingne wore a Local Heroes shirt last week that read: “wtf?! where’s the food?”  Judging by her latest graphic tee, she seems to have found some backstage at Galliano during Paris Fashion Week.  Between the eyebrows and the meat patties there’s a lot going on in this photo, but we’re glad to see we know which side of the diet spectrum Cara is on. Fashion isn’t exactly known for its hearty meals and there’s been a lot of controversy lately surrounding the industry’s struggle with weight obsession. Plus, we go backstage at as many shows as Delevingne does and can vouch for the fact that the better the catering is, the better the experience will be. (Thanks again for the giant warm pretzels and mulled wine, Rag & Bone.)

Cara crusading for the cause is definitely a good idea. But would you wear a shirt that makes you look like The Hamburglar?—RAY SIEGEL
