NEW YORK
What: Party with NYLON, Made Fashion Week, and Macy’s
Why: Though technically this is for Tuesday, we wanted to let you know ASAP. Get ready, because we’re hosting a shindig with Made Fashion Week and Macy’s! You’ll be to able to peep the latest Made Fashion Week for Impulse Collection while sippin’ on beverages, enjoying sweets, and catching a DJ set by The Knocks. Not only will there be NYLON swag bags up for grabs, one very lucky winner who Instagrams or tweets a photo from the event with the hashtag #NYLONxMacy’sMADE will win a special prize package from NYLON. Sounds pretty sweet, right? We’ll see you there.
BOSTON
What: Carrie at The Coolidge Corner Theatre
Why: Be sure to catch the 70’s Sissy Spacek horror classic and catch up on the gore before the reboot with Chloe Moretz drops.
NASHVILLE
What: Freakin’ Weekend Hangover Brunch at The Stone Fox
Why: Celebrate the end of this year’s Freakin’ Weekend fest by getting down with one last show. Sunday afternoon, The Stone Fox is hosting a Hangover Brunch with Milwaukee indie rockers Jaill, Brooklyn’s Fletcher C. Johnson, John Wesley Coleman III, and local act Deluxin’. It’s a surefire way to end your weekend with a bang. The (super cheap!) show doesn’t start until 4, so feel free to sleep in, brunch it, and get ready to jam.
MIAMI
What: Brenmar DJ Set at Bardot
Why: The Chicago based DJ and producer has gained buzz for producing the likes of Mykki Blanco and remixing tracks from Jamie Foxx, Cassie, Justin Timberlake, and our personal early aughts fave, Aaliyah. Tonight he’s spinning at Bardot with JMSN during the Arts Walk Showcase, and the tunes are guaranteed to get you on the dance floor.
CHICAGO
What: Indie boutique Vile & Valiant hosts their first-ever vintage market
Why: Get ready for the ultimate in vintage heaven. Vile & Valiant is teaming up with secondhand faves Axis of Evelyn, ZZouzi Vintage, and Richard’s Fabulous Finds to curate an unreal selection of one-of-a-kind pieces. The market benefits the construction of a new playground at Eckhart Park, so feel free to splurge for a good cause.
AUSTIN
What: Feathersboutiquevintage.com Launch Party
Why: The much beloved Feathers is launching their online store and are celebrating with a trunk show with designers Alchemy and Kulturegeist. Also debuting is their in-house line, which will feature patchwork shorts, silk tanks, and more amazing up-cycled vintage (think Reformation). Add vodka, free totes, and gift cards with purchase into the mix, and it sounds like a pretty sweet Friday night.

What: Aeroplane and Flight Facilities at The Mezzanine
Why: Feel the workweek melt away as you get down to Aeroplane and Flight Facilities. Straight off their high-altitude tour, these dance DJs are ready to cross the borders of dance-pop and experimental electro to man a killer performance for all you audiophiles out there. Drink, dance, sweat, repeat.
LOS ANGELES
What: Joe Fresh Pop-Up
Why: Until Sunday, the Canadian fast fashion mecca is hosting a temporary pop-up. In addition to shopping the spring collection, score gratis drinks from Real Raw Live and Lemonade L.A., custom Nail Swag manis, and take a spin in the photobooth.
ORANGE COUNTY
What: Guantanamo Baywatch
Why: The gung-ho Portland trio are headlining tomorrow night at Alex’s Bar in Long Beach, and their super fun mix of twangy, retro surf rock will send you straight to your happy place. Along with Wild Pack of Canaries’ signature crazy-cool mix of tropicalia-infused experimental psychedelic punk, we think this is going to be a guaranteed good time.
