Best Dressed: Emilia Clarke
There are so many reasons to love Emilia Clarke right now–she stars as Holly Golightly in the new Broadway version of Breakfast at Tiffany’s, plus there’s the return of Game of Thrones at the end of this month. But don’t underestimate her ability to seriously impress with her style acumen.
We knew she could seriously bring it to a red carpet event (like this past year’s Emmys), but turns out her low-key look is just as cool. While en route to the Late Show with David Letterman, the mother of dragons braved the rain in what we should start calling the actress off-duty look: leather moto jacket, girly-with-an-edge dress, and a pair of major heels.
What makes it such a go-to for so many of our favorite on-screen stars is that you can literally wear it anywhere. Well, maybe not backpacking for the weekend or on a ski trip, but most other occasions–art history class, Monday morning meeting, Charli XCX gig, 4am dancing-on-the-table excursions–are perfect for the combo.
