A Pair of Pears

True Story: Yesterday, UK-newspaper The Telegraph reported that “A Plymouth pear tree, one of Britain’s rarest native plants, has been given to the Queen to plant in the gardens of Buckingham Palace.”
The gift came from her gardener (whose name is obviously “Arthur”)–and, yes, this is real life, not an episode of Downton Abbey.
But for those who haven’t found their way into the gardens of Buckingham or Downton, not to worry! We found a pair of perfectly delicious pears just for you. Enjoy! -ALI HOFFMAN
